Insomnia

Insomnia: refers to problems falling and/or staying asleep. Insomnia and other sleep disturbances are symptoms of malnutrition and/or depression. Recent research demonstrates that starvation results in disruptions of the sleep cycle and a reduction of delta sleep. Although several peptides are supposed to be involved in these regulatory processes (i.e. CCK, orexin, leptin), their mode of action is still poorly understood. Source.
