Sibling role

Under Maudsley Approach, the siblings  are coached to establish alliances that bring support and empathy. Siblings can have a range of emotions including: anger, confusion, sadness, guilt, grief, etc. Family therapy and individual therapy can help siblings vent pent-up emotions and learn ways of coping in a healthy manner that will ultimately be beneficial for the recovery process. See Family unity.
